Having a shot of your lovely coffee every morning might make you reduce your risk of getting cancer, liver disease, diabetes, Parkinson’s disease, and Type 2 diabetes and live longer.
The Science Daily reported that drinking coffee was associated with lower risk of death due to heart disease, stroke, cancer, kidney disease and diabetes. It reduces the number of dead people for 12 percentage.
The effectiveness of both types of coffee, caffeinated or decaffeinated are the same, as it is not linked to the containment of caffeine. There is a good news for coffee fans, because those who drink 2-3 cups a day, the effect becomes even stronger– an 18 percent.
Even many researchers do not know what causes longer life, according to Veronica W. Setiawan, associate professor of preventive medicine at the Keck School of Medicine of US, who is the lead author of one conducted study, coffee contains a lot of phenolic compounds and antioxidants that play an important role in cancer prevention.
Some evidence shows that chemicals in coffee may be able to improve insulin sensitivity and prevent long-term (chronic) inflammation, which reduces the risk of the development of cancer.
According to the other researchers, coffee could protect against DNA damage, slowing the growth of tumors or causing the damaged cells to die before they develop into cancer.
For all of you who are a coffee drinker, this new research and evidence will probably confirm your believing, that coffee is a real drink for you, but those who are not coffee drinkers, you might consider becoming one!
