- 5 garlic cloves, coarsely chopped
- Roughly chopped half yellow onion
- 1 tablespoon of chopped ginger
- Raw and unfiltered apple cider vinegar
- 1 lemon, juiced
- 2 coarsely chopped chili peppers
Get a 500ml mason jar and add the chopped onion first. Over the onion, place the chopped garlic and then the hot peppers. Add the ginger on top and lastly pour the lemon juice and the apple cider vinegar.
Seal the jar tightly but leave at least 1cm of free space on the top. You can keep the jar in the pantry or place it on the counter in your kitchen. Consume the tonic regularly in order to relieve the symptoms of a cold, flu or a sore throat.
