Nurses and Healthcare Workers Across the U.S. Are Refusing Mandatory Flu Vaccines

The flu vaccine is typically recommended for everyone over six months of age, without having serious complications from the flu. However, for some people, such as pregnant women, people with chronic diseases and people older than 65 years at can be a risk that can cause serious health problems.

The shot is not recommended also for the people who:

–           have had an allergic reaction to the flu shot in the past

–           have a severe allergy to eggs

–           are currently sick with a fever

What are serious side effects of the flu shot?

Even the serious side effects are rare, they still exist and can include:

–           High fever

–           Severe allergic reactions to symptoms such as:

  • hives
  • trouble breathing
  • swelling
  • dizziness
  • fast heart rate
  • weakness

–           Guillain-Barré syndrome (GBS)

Numerous multiple studies have also shown that flu vaccinations are ineffective and do not offer any extra protection, which doesn’t stop forcing the hospital employees to get it mandatory.

However, more than 22,000 nurses in the US are against Mandatory Vaccines (NAMV) and are refusing mandatory vaccines, accepting even the consequences to lose their jobs, which was the case.

One of the reasons why they refused to get it is because a significant number got sick even after they had received the vaccines. That breach of their human rights to make a choice has caused one group of nurses to create the activist group ‘Nurses against mandatory vaccines‘.

The real thing that triggered them was the exact word ‘mandatory’. This information of forcing nurses to get a flu shot was denied on the website the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), which doesn’t coincide with the personal stories.

According to the CDC website, they don’t require or mandate state agencies, health systems, or health care workers to get infection control practices, including influenza vaccination. They stated that there are no legally mandated vaccinations for adults, except for persons entering military service.

They are, actually recommending certain immunizations for adults, depending on occupation, age, and other circumstances, but these immunizations are not required by law.

The main problem with the flu ‘vaccine’ is not the effectiveness, but the virus who is in it, as the virus is changeable, and the strains that are protected against are different from one year to the next.
