This Syrup Will Stop a Cough Dead in its Tracks: Ginger Thyme Cough Syrup

 Ginger-Thyme Cough Syrup


–              3/4 cup raw local Honey

–              2 handfuls fresh thyme

–              1 1/2 cups of Water

–              1 knuckle of ginger minced


1)            Put ginger and thyme in a pot with boiling water

2)            Simmer all together for 5-10 minutes

3)            Add raw honey gently stirring and allow the syrup to rest for 30-60 minutes,

4)            Strain it well.

5)            Put the filtered syrup back on the heat and bring to a boil

6)            Remove from the heat and let it cool

7)            Bottle the syrup and store it in the fridge.Dosage:

Adults can take 3-5 tablespoons, while children 3-5 teaspoons per day
